Blessed be the Lord my Rock

Blessed be the Lord, my rock
Who trains my hands for war
And my fingers for battle;
My rock, my fortress, my God!

My stronghold and my deliverer
My shield in whom I take refuge,
What is man that you regard him,
Or the Son of man that you think of him?

Blessed be the Lord, my rock
Who trains my hands for war
And my fingers for battle;
My rock, my fortress, my God!

Bow your heavens and come down!
Touch the mountains that they smoke!
Flash forth the lightning and scatter them,
Stretch forth Your hand from on high!

Blessed be the Lord, my rock
Who trains my hands for war
And my fingers for battle;
My rock, my fortress, my God!

I will sing a new song to you, Lord,
To You who give victory to kings,
Who rescues David Your servant
And subdues the peoples under him

Blessed be the Lord, my rock
Who trains my hands for war
And my fingers for battle;
My rock, my fortress, my God!

May our sons in their youth be like plants full grown.
Happy the people with such blessings,
The people whose God is the Lord!

Blessed be the Lord, my rock
Who trains my hands for war
And my fingers for battle;
My rock, my fortress, my God!
