Isaiah 49

I will never forget you my people

I have carved you on the palm of my hand.

I will never forget you,

I will not leave you orphan.

I will never forget my own.

Does a mother forget her baby

Or a woman the child within her womb?

Yet, even if these forget,

Yet, even if these forget,

I will never forget my own. 

It Is Good To Give You Thanks

Lord, it is good to give you thanks.(2x)

1. It is good to give thanks to the Lord

To make music to your name

To proclaim your love in the morning

And your truth throughout the night. Refrain

2. The just shall flourish like a palm tree

And grow like a Lebanon cedar

Planted in the house of the Lord

They will flourish in God's time. Refrain

3. They shall bear fruit when they are old

Still full of sap, still green

To proclaim that the Lord's love is steadfast

In God, my rock, there is no wrong. Refrain
