Give us your break for each day.

Battered and bruised from the fray.

Lord, give us light when in  darkness,
send us just one guiding ray.

Lord, give us peace when we're frightened;
Close by our side won't You stay?

Lord, give us love when we're lonely,
friends can be so far away.
